About Us
Sussex Travel Clinic is a nurse-led immunisation centre and is run by Director Helen Thorpe RGN and Director Jane Bell RGN. Sussex Travel Clinic provides expert travel health advice, travel vaccinations, malaria tablets and has an on site travel gear shop selling quality travel accessories such as mosquito nets, insect repellents and travel first aid kits.
Sussex Travel Clinic is registered with the Care Quality Commission and is licensed to see children and adults aged 5 years and over.
Sussex Travel Clinic are members of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), the British Travel Health Association (BTHA), International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM), International Society of Infectious Diseases (ISID) and is a registered Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre.

Helen’s interest in travel health began in 1988 when she was working as a practice nurse. Helen was responsible for the setting up and running of the British Airways Travel Clinic franchise at the practice. This later became a MASTA (Medical Advisory Service for Travellers Abroad) travel clinic. The importance of giving travel health advice and immunisations was later re-enforced by Helen’s eight years experience as a repatriation nurse. |

Jane has over fifteen years practical experience in travel health. Jane has worked as a practice nurse in Brighton and Shoreham. Her interest in travel health began when she was a travel health advisor at the MASTA clinic in Brighton. Jane has a love of travel and in the past has been backpacking across the world including Thailand, Europe and Africa. |
Helen and Jane’s combined years experience in travel health led them to the decision to set up their own travel clinic. They also run an internet company World Wide Nets – which sells travel health products.
