Hepatitis B is spread the same way as HIV through the exchange of bodily fluids. Antibodies are present after completion of a course of Hepatitis B vaccine. Traveller’s do not require regular antibody testing, but some employers require staff to have their antibodies checked if they work in roles such as healthcare.
