What is it?
Typhoid and hepatitis A are spread through contaminated food and water. Typhoid causes septicaemia and hepatitis A causes liver inflammation and jaundice. In risk areas you should be immunised if good hygiene is impossible.
Vaccine Schedule
Hepatitis A – Two doses – Day 0 and 6 months later. Following a booster dose Hepatitis A will last between 20 and 30 years.
Typhoid – Day 0 (booster after 3 years)

Please note Combined Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccine is not currently available in the UK. We have single dose Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccines in stock. Typhoid can also be given in tablet form – ask your travel nurse for further information.
